"The majestic Tsukahara Plateau, representing Oita Prefecture, stretches near the border of Yufu City Yufuin-cho and Beppu City. Gentle hillsides form a series, displaying the changing faces of the seasons for visitors.

Along Prefectural Route 616, weaving through this plateau, you'll find the Yufuin Tsukahara Plateau Tourism Association. They provide a variety of brochures for tourism and accommodations, as well as galleries and dining establishments scattered throughout the plateau. Within the tourism association, there's also a shop called 'te〜' (Tekara) selling handmade items by plateau artists. When you visit the Tsukahara Plateau, be sure to stop by."
