Happy New Year!
We look forward to your continued support of Cycling Oita in the coming year.
We would like to share a report on our FAMIL that took place in late October 2024, touring four areas of Oita Prefecture (Beppu, Yufuin, Saiki, and Bungo-Ohno). This trip has also been featured on our official Instagram.
For this event, we welcomed guests from three different countries and hosted a “Three-Country Friendship Ride” over two nights and three days.
Japan: Kenta (Cycling Influencer)
Kenta is a highly popular cycling YouTuber who covers a wide range of topics on road bikes, cross bikes, and more.
His beginner-friendly explanations, ride reports, and Vlogs offer a rich variety of content.
In the past, he even uploaded a video showcasing his ride around the Kunisaki Peninsula—suggesting (we like to think!) that he’s really come to love Oita Prefecture!

Taiwan: Linda (Cycling Influencer)
Linda is a popular cycling influencer in Taiwan who shares her adventures in bike travel, road biking, and the cycling lifestyle on social media.
She is attracting a lot of attention as a key player in the Asian cycling scene.
Following Kenta’s lead, she has also featured a ride in Taketa and Kuju alongside Sparkle Oita Racing Team, a professional cycling team in Oita Prefecture.
We’re quite convinced Linda has fallen in love with Oita too! (At least, that’s our personal hope!)
